Kind of a slow week, H.R. 1262 Federal Water Pollution Control Act was voted on. Here we have another 17.7 Billion spent over ten years. The Congressional Budget Office projected this effect on the budget. While pollution control is necessary, I have to question whether we need to spend this much. Looking at the bill I see a number of worthwhile projects and some that are catch alls that are used to have extra money floating around when the overruns start. I am sure you all know the drill. DAVID VOTED YES ON H.R. 1262. We are now into the year over 60 days and there has not been one spending bill that David has not voted for. It makes me wonder who he owes his allegience to, spending like this sure does not help future generations.
