H.R. 85 Congressional Budget for Fiscal Year 2010, this is the bill that should get David voted out of congress. The passage of this bill according to CBO estimates will add $1,000,000,000.00 to the deficit for every year up to 2019. The debt service will be sufficient to lower the living standard in this country considerably becasue of the tax increases. By 2019 it will incur, at todays interest rates, 860,000,000 in just interest. The irresponsibility of our congress has not gone unnotice as the world has no interest in buying our bonds. That means the treasury will have to buy them, that means they will have to print more money and, as any economist will tell you, double digit inflation is just right around the corner. YOU ALREADY KNOW DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 1256 Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. This was an attempt to put tobacco under the FDA so they could regulate it more. The cost would be $200,000,000 per year and would most likely cripple another industry and eliminate more jobs, just what we need. Don't get me wrong I do not like the smokers but some common sense has to prevail. BIG SURPRISE DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R.1664 To amend the executive compensation provisions of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 to prohibit unreasonable and excessive compensation and compensation not based on performance standards. Yet another attempt to socialize our private sector. This is a blatant attempt to limit income for certain individuals. It is in keeping with the socialist agenda of the administration. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R.1575 End Government Reimbursement of Excessive Executive Disbursements (End GREED) Act, this is the bill that congress tried to pass to void a valid employment contract between AIG and some of its employees. This is in direct violation of the constitution and if David were not so irresponsible as to vote for the stimulus bill withpout even knowing what was in it there would be no reason for this waste of time. Foutunately the Senate recognized the problem so the bill died. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 1259 Dextromethorphan Distribution Act this is an amendmet to a Food Drug and Cosmetic act. It sets controls for this substance. This comes with a price of $11,000,000. This is apparently a controlled substance. DAVID VOTED YES.
H.R. 577 Vision care for kids. This bill is to get eye exams for underpriviledged children, cost is $65,000,000. Of course this is a bill that is needed and the money is money well spent. DAVID VOTED YES OFR THIS BILL.
H.R. 151 Daniel Webster COngressional Clerkship Act. THis is just an ongoing internship program. Cost of about $1,000,000 per year. DAVID VOTEDYES FOR THIS BILL
H.R.1299 Capitol Police Administrative Technical Corrections Act of 2009, another of those housekeeping bills. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL.

Monday March 30, 2009
H.R.20 The Melanie Blocker Stokes Mothers Act this bill sets aside funds for post partum depression. The cost of this bill is $9,000,000.00 a relatively small sum. It is mental health legislation and is most likely a needed bill. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL. H.R. 479 The Wakefiled Act this reauthorizes a childrens health care bill that was expiring. This will cost $138,000,000.00 and is probably a needed service. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL.
