H.R.1676 Prevent all Cigarette Trafficking Act. If you are form North Carolina this is not a good bill. I for one feel the 160 million that will be spent is a good thing to inhibit the sale of tobacco product. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R.915 FAA Reauthorization Act. This appears to be a bill that will ultimately improve air safety and improve some facilities. The cost is not that big so it makes sense. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
Wednesday May 20, 2009
H.R.Creditcard Holders Bill of Rights Act. This is a zero cost bill, that is until you look at the consequences. The passage of this bill will cost the people that [ay their credit card bills more to support people that do not. TO HIS CREDIT, DAVID VOTED AGAINST THIS BAD BILL. It passed anyway.
H.R.2352 Job Creation Through Entrepreneurship Act. This is a 531 million dollar bill that should pay back big time. It lets the SBA loan more money to people to finance new ideas. Hopefully it will create more jobs. DAVIND VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
Tuesday May 19,2009
H.R.1089. This bill is not a big spender and gives our veterans some rights to appeal to a higher authority. This appears to be a duplication of laws that are already in effect. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
S.896 helping families save their homes act. A nice 11.3 billion dollar giveaway so we can pay for people that should not have been in their house to begin with. Really we need to hold people accountable for their actions. A safety net for those that have lost their job would have cost a lot less of our money. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
Wendsday May 20, 2009
H.R. 627 Credit card holders bill of rights act of 2009. What a joke, this bill will create higher costs for the credit card holder that pays his bills. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R.2352 Job creation through entreprenuership act. This bill will cost about 531 million dollars but it is money that is set aside for the SBA loans which is a good thing. Lets face it the government has to have somebody to tax. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
Thursday May 21.2009
H.R.1676 Prevent all Cigarette Trafficing Act. A bill just to close some loopholes. We all know that the government needs to collect their taxes, this time it costs only $160,000,000.00. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R.915 FAA reauthorization act. This bill allocates an additional $60,000,000.00 for the FAA. It appears it is to improve airline safety. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R.2346 Budget supplemmental appropriations. The spending, er wasting of more of taxpayers money. AS ONE WOULD EXPECT DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R.347 This bill grants a gold medal to an infantry group from world war II. DAVID VOTED, AS DID EVERYBODY, FOR THIS BILL.
Wenesday May 13, 2009
H.R.2162 another post office naming. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
S.454 Weapons system aquisition refom act of 2009. Another way to spend money we do not have. Just another way to slow down and make it more difficult for the department of defense to do their job. OF COURSE DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R.2187 21st century green high performing public school facilities act. A bill that authorizes 6.4 billion dollars to upgrade school facilities. Unfortunately the energy savings is not there, the technology has not evolved to that point yet.

S-386 a senate bill to protect agianst mortgage fraud. This one costs 490 million dollars and is to help stop mortgage and securities fraud. Maybe they should have saved the 490 million and just tightened up the credit standards. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
Thursday May 7.2009
H.B.1728 Mortgaage reform and anti-predatory lending act. Another way to waste tax payers money. I am sorry but we need to tighten up credit standards, not everyone is meant to own a house. Some people just do not pay their bills so now we are going to spend $490,000,000.00 to help them. Just another waste of money.

H.R. 627 Credit Card Holders Bill of Rights Act. Boy doesn't this sound impressive? What your fine representatives have done is passed a bill to protect the deadbeats that do not pay their bills and keep the credit card companies from punishing them. That is all fine and dandy until you notice that the interest rate for customers that do pay their bills are getting jacked up. Bottom line is the bill protects those that do not pay, so congress feels we that do pay can pick up the extra charges in increased interest rates. Another waste of time, and burden on the solid citizens. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

S CON RES 13 This is the budget bill reconcilliation with the Senate. Theis is one of the bills that will help quadruple our debt and lower the living standards for the next two or three generations. This alone should be grounds to replace everyone that voted for it. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS RECONCILLIATION.
H.R. 46 Family Self-Sufficiency Act of 2009. This appears to be another of those housekeeping items. No real cost involved. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R.1913 Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Act. Here is a bill that we do not need. This is a states issue and I believe every state has some sort of hate crime laws. The interesting thing if I remember correctly it includes protection of child molesters. Now that is something we need. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
Tuesday April 28,2009
H.R. 1243 is an act to give Arnold Palmer a gold medal for his contribution to golf andn good sportsmanship. Arnold deserves this but do we really need to waste our time with this? Could this not have been handled without a bill? DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.
H.R. 1595 Another post office dedication. See above. DAVID VITED FOR THIS BILL.
Monday April 27,2009
H.R.1746 Pre-disaster Mitigation Act of 2009. THis $770,000,000.00 bill is to provide funding for a disaster to take steps before the event occurs. It will be distributed through FEMA and while it is a pretty good chunk, probably needed.
