H.R.1139 COPS improvement act of 2009 appears to jsut give the Attorney General more control over lawenforcement. Do we really need to spend another 5.4 Billion dollars for this? Just another fine example of taking of our liberties and putting them in the hands of another Washington Bureaucrat.

H.R.1145 National Water and Research Development Initiative Act of 2009. A bill spending $8,000,000.00 for research on water development resources it appears just another way for the federal government to spend and control the country. Seems we already have enough control on this issue. It most likely is just uneeded legislation, but a rather small sum in reality. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL.

Wendsday April 22, 2009

H.R.1679 House Reservists Pay Act does not add to the deficit is revenue nuetral and helps House of Representative members that are called inot the service from the reserves get help by paying them their salary. I bet a lot of military would welcome that. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 586 Civil Rights History Act. This bill establishes funds for gathering historical data of the civil rights era. It has a $4,000,000.00 price tag and would not be a big issue except, did anyone notice we are buried in debt? DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 957 Green Energy Education Act. The main purpose of this bill is to grant monies, not in the bill, to National Scientific Foundation to research and develop buoilding energy saving techniques. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 388 Crane Conservation Act of 2009. A bill to help protect the Crane population, minimal money attached to this bill. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 411 Great Cats and Rare Canids Act of 2009, another protection bill, but this one only costs $20,000,000.00 of your tax money. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 1219 Lake Hodges Surface Water Improvement and Reclamation Act of 2009. This is a water project and there was no estimate of costs. I believe it is still in the planning stage, but 25% of the cost comes out of the federal government. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 1679 House Reservists Pay Adjustment Act. This is a bill to pay congress members in the event they have to go to military service. I am sure the regular G.I.'s don't get this benefit. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 586 Civil Rights History Project Act. Another $4,000,000 for a civil rights project by the Smithsonian and Library of Congress. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

S CON 13 Congressional Budget for Fiscal Year 2010. This is the budget bill back from the senate. It appears the senate does not share the same views as the house because it failed, mostly along party lines. Must have had some republican input. The only reason I mention this is the importance of how bad congress is going to bury the taxpayers. DAVID VOTED NO FOR THIS BILL.
