1/14 HR2
The SCHIP bill is a bill to provide health care to children living in poverty. This sound great, until you find, as I understand it, a family of 4 making $60000.00 per year qualifies for taxpayer paid health care. Oh did I mention it covers children up to 30? Children, 30? If I were head of a family of four and making $60000.00 per year I would not cover my kids and let the taxpayer ante up. Bottom line is that the law will cover a lot of people that should be on their own, and take responsibility for their own health care. I am sure nobody wants to deny underprivileged children health care, but we need to limit it to the underprivileged. Just remember this and the other coming legislation when you look at your tax bill. DAVID VOTED YES
