Vote today on H.R.1404. This is a bill that establishes a fund to deal with wildfires in parks. It is going to cost some money but it appears to be based on an estimate of the the actual damage and clean up. At this point it is not funded. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

H.R.146 is a bill to authorize the purchase of lands for the park service that were associated with the revolutionary war and the war of 1812. At this time congress authorized 10,000,000 for 2010 and 2014 to be spent to aquire these properties. We need to perserve these lands for future generations. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 730 sets up a nuclear forensics team to investigate the use of nuclear weapons. I guess considering the administration is ignoring the race by Korea and Iran to obtain a nuclear devices we might as well have a department to figure out where the attack on America came from, as it inevetively will. It probably would make more sense to stop the proliferation of nuclear devices, but I guess the administration does not see any reason to do that. DAVID VOTE FOR THIS BILL.

H.R. 1617 this bill looks to be house keeping for the homeland security department. It defines the duties of the department. DAVID VOTED FOR THIS BILL.

Monday March 23, 2009

H.R. 918 and 1218 are bills that name post offices. DAVID VOTED YES FOR THESE BILLS.
